An afternoon with our guests from Business Insider

Last December, we had an amazing time hosting A.C. Fowlers and Sydney Kramer from Business Insider.  Insider is always exploring fresh and exciting items and products to showcase to their audience.  When A.C. and Sydney heard of a place where you could put our face and a message on an individual pair of customized socks, they were instantly intrigued and called us up wanting to find out more.

The Insider duo had a chance to find out and learn more about whom we are and what we do here at Customize Elite Socks. We were excited with providing them the exclusive experience of our customization process from start to finish. They showed up at our CES office in Brooklyn on a cold winter afternoon looking to customize a few pairs of socks to keep their feet nice and toasty. Sydney was the first up with our in-house designer, Anna. Sydney came prepared sporting her Lisa Simpson sweatshirt. She wanted herself along with a quote from Lisa Simpson, “I learned that beneath my goody two-shoes lie some very dark socks”, on her socks. A.C. on the other hand, wanted to represent Insider with the Insider logo around the whole socks wrapped in their color. Afterwards, the design was passed along to our product manager, Frank. The design images were then printed on photo printers using dye sublimation ink on special transfer paper. Next, the printouts and socks are taken to the heat press and that’s where the socks magic happens. Sydney’s socks with her face were specially gift packed since it was to be a surprise gift for her husband.
